Purpose of Establishment
The purpose of establishing KIEE was to have an organization intent on
contributing itself to benefiting Korean society by promoting, developing
and distributing electrical engineering technologies in accordance with
rules and regulations for the establishment of a legal body for public
interest (Article 1.1 of the Articles of Incorporation)
Major Businesses
1. Publication of KIEE bulletin, paper journal and books
2. Study and research
3. Host scientific conferences and lecture meetings
4. Preparation of standards and codes
5. International scientific study exchange
6. Preparation of plans and proposals for technology policy
7. Award meritorious service and promotion of study
8. Other essential businesses necessary for achieving the purposes of KIEE
